On August 15, Independence Day was celebrated with a message of unity, integrity, and brotherhood, honoring the sacrifices of the brave martyrs and the nation’s freedom. The trainees and staff of all centers under Bal Bhawan, Panchkula, and Mini Bal Bhawan, Kalka, celebrated by singing the National Anthem.
A flag-hoisting ceremony was held on the Bal Bhawan premises, where a pledge was taken to make India even greater. The trainees and staff from the Computer Training Center, Sewing & Embroidery Center, Children’s Library, Day Care Center, and Duty Care Center came together to celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm, fervor, and a sense of loyalty and love for the country.
As part of the festivities, hair styling and mehndi (henna) competitions were organized for the trainees of the Duty Care Training Center. The winning girls and women were honored and awarded by the District Child Welfare Officer and Shri Neeraj Sood, a social worker.
